What is the difference between this mud mask and sheet masks?

Sheet masks typically contain watery essence formulations, making them ideal for incorporating water-soluble active ingredients. They primarily target the skin's epidermis and stratum corneum, and have limited penetration into the deeper dermis layer. In comparison, mud masks (wash-off masks) have formulations closer to creams, containing more oils, which facilitate the penetration of oil-soluble active ingredients deeper into the dermis layer, thus providing more comprehensive effects. Additionally, due to their longer application time, mud masks avoid excessive skin hydration and allow active ingredients to be absorbed more effectively.
